Bari, 11-13 December 2019
Cineca has taken part in the XVIII workshop of Statistical Mechanics and Non-Perturbative Field Theory which was held in Bari from 11 to 13 December 2019.
The goal of the workshop has been to share ideas from Statistical Mechanics, Field Theory and other areas of theoretical physics.
Particular emphasis was devoted to the presentation of results and challenges in computational theoretical physics using HPC (High Performance Computing) and QC (Quantum Computing) resources.
The Cineca Quantum Computing team contributed with a talk entitled “Low Rank Non-Negative Matrix Factorization with D-Wave 2000Q”, developed in collaboration with E.N.I. Spa.
