High Performance Computing and Quantum Computing 2018

On 18 December 2018 in the Bologna headquarters, Cineca inaugurated the first edition of the “High Performance Computing and Quantum Computing” workshop.

Realizing the importance and perspectives of quantum computing, Cineca initiates a process aimed at sharing the potentialities and perspectives of this emerging technology with the main players in this sector.
The event was immediately received with wide interest by exponents of University and research institutes as well by representatives of companies, creating, for the first time in Italy, a space for sharing and discussing on both High performance computing and quantum computing.
