The EuroHPC Summit 2023 with the theme “European Supercomputing Excellence in the Exascale Era” will be held March 20-23 in Gothenburg, Sweden.
The EuroHPC Summit is an annual event that brings together key European HPC stakeholders, from suppliers to scientific and industrial users to political leaders.
The Summit is an important time to present the latest achievements and opportunities of the European supercomputing ecosystem, but also to discuss and reflect on current and future HPC challenges. The event is also a great chance for participants to connect with the European HPC community.
An essential part of the event is devoted to European developments concerning Quantum Computing. Specifically, the main initiatives of EuroHPC Joint Undertaking regarding the integration of quantum computers and supercomputers and the desire to create a shared HPC-QC hybrid supercomputing ecosystem are shown. In addition, space is given to Swedish perspectives in quantum computing in relation to the broader European strategies mentioned above.
