The school is aimed at PhD students in quantum information, particle physics and condensed matter. Students will be introduced to the basic concepts of circuit quantum electrodynamics, quantum controls and metrology. The school will also cover the main topics of quantum sensing, quantum-limited amplification and microwave photon counting, used to significantly improve sensitivity in sensing axions and interactions between dark matter candidates. Participation of experimental and post-docs is also encouraged. In 2021 the school will be virtual from 21 June to 2 July 2021. The program will be organized to welcome students from US and European time zones.
