Abstract
It is well known that quantum technologies have the potential to revolutionize computing, and to efficiently solve what classical computers cannot. There are a number of active lines of R&D in the quantum technology ecosystem to deliver the promise of a universal fault tolerant quantum machine. This horizon is coming closer, but there still is a long journey ahead. At Qilimanjaro, we want to speed up market access to true quantum capabilities with our full-stack solution by building quantum hardware based on next-generation coherent quantum annealers. This architecture allows us to bypass key roadblocks that limit other quantum technologies. At the same time, we are contributing to a fullstack software framework, named Qibo, to become an open-source operating system of reference for quantum hardware platforms.
